VuSpaces is a UK-based service providing hosted 360° venue experiences and a photographer network. VuSpaces is responsible for personal information described in this policy where it decides how and why that information is used.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use VuSpaces, we may collect your name, business or venue name, email address, telephone number, postal or venue address, account and login information, enquiries, subscription and billing information, and correspondence.

For photographers, we may also collect application and profile information including location, travel radius, experience, equipment, portfolio information, insurance or transport information, rates, assignment details and uploaded photography.

We may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, referring pages, security logs and usage information.

3. How we use personal information

We use personal information to operate VuSpaces, manage accounts, process venue and space requests, arrange photography assignments, communicate with clients and photographers, host and publish 360° experiences, provide support, administer subscriptions and payments, maintain security, diagnose technical problems and improve the service.

4. Lawful bases

Depending on the circumstances, we process information because it is necessary to perform or prepare to enter into a contract, because we have legitimate interests in operating and protecting VuSpaces, because we must comply with a legal obligation, or because you have given consent. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it.

5. Payments

We may use payment providers such as Stripe to process subscriptions and payments. Complete payment-card details do not need to be stored on VuSpaces systems when they are handled by the payment provider. Payment providers process information under their own applicable privacy terms.

6. Sharing information

We may share information where reasonably necessary with providers that help operate VuSpaces, including hosting, email, payment, analytics and technical providers.

Relevant contact and assignment information may be shared between clients and photographers where necessary to arrange and complete venue photography.

We may disclose information where required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a future sale or transfer of the VuSpaces business or service.

7. International processing

Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where UK data protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use an appropriate lawful mechanism or provider arrangement.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including providing the service, maintaining business and transaction records, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and meeting legal, accounting or tax obligations.

VuSpaces may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for login sessions, security and account operation. If we use non-essential cookies or tracking technologies that require consent under UK law, we will provide appropriate information and consent controls.

10. Your rights

UK data protection law may give you rights including access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and, in some circumstances, data portability. These rights depend on the circumstances and are not absolute.

You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests and to object to direct marketing.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
